Aviation Game Format

The aviation game week challenges students to think of creative solutions for a sustainable future for the aviation industry. Student teams have to come up with innovative ideas in a high pressure setting. Both to create awareness that it’s also their responsibility to change the industry as well as to kick-off the last year of their studies in a high energy mode.

This year marked the fifth edition of the Aviation Game Week for the Aviation Academy of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Innovation Canvas

Innovation-canvas

This year we introduced the Sustainable Aviation Innovation Canvas. A simple, smart intuitive and highly visual way to get your innovative idea through.

International connections

As aviation is a global industry and the challenges are global, we aim to establish international connections. This year we connected the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences with Ryerson University’s aviation department in Toronto. Amsterdam based students worked on a challenge presented to them by one of the Ryerson professors. Later this year Ryerson students will face a challenge from the Netherlands.

Future editions of the game week, starting this year, will contain connection with the international aviation education community in developing new concepts.
